A Million Tears Falling..

By Deadly Embrace

I watch as the night seems to stand still,
And that feeling of bliss I can no longer feel,
Is swept from my being, leaving me cold.
And as the stars light the pale moonlight,
I look out my window,
In search of sight,
To see you reaching out to me,
But it is but a dream,
I can no longer believe,
As the tears roll down
And the wind passes me by,
A cold front of tears,
Roll down from my eyes.

“Why have you done this to me?”
Of all the times, you said you cared.
You’d rather turn to him.
Leaving my lifeless..
Upon recognition.
As I slowly break down
From this deadly condition.

“Why do I not matter?”
“Why did it have to be you?”
To rip me of my happiness,
With the hurtful things you do,
I wish I wouldn’t care,
Just push you aside,
Leave me to my nothingness,
Avoiding all your lies.
I wish I could just walk away,
Start a new beginning,
With someone that actually cares,
About these hidden feelings,
And that day is soon to come,
As night draws in day,
Giving my all,
I laugh at your foolishness,
But inside..
A million tears fall..

The last 4 lines from the 2nd stanza(?), amazing. The rising hope at the end-though the sadness still dwelled within, seems almost glorious, like the rising phoenix out from the ashes, though still torn inside. Beautiful, as always. -Michael
