Razor Blade Memories

By Myrrhkuri the fallen one

Razor blade memories so painful and cruel,
slashing through my thoughts like warm butter.
"I'm l..losing my m..m...m..m..MIND!"
No wait...t..that was s..s....s..STOLEN!"

All your slandering words choked me like a noose,
snapping the neck of sanity....leaving it dangling.
"W..w..why? What did I..I ever d..d..do?"
"I j..just wanted to b..b..be like y..y....y..YOU!"

What I'd give to be normal like all of you.
Your stares pierce my flesh as you crucify me with your judgemental views.
"I wasn't any d..d..different, j..j..just shy."
"I was s..s..scared, my im..m..mage helped keep y..y..you away."

Your boredom has robbed me of any chance of a normal life.
Friendship, like a remote control made me do crazy things for your approval.
"OK I'll p..p..pierce my arm w..with that r..r..rusty nail."
"B..b..brand a p..p..pentagram in m..my forehead? (hmmmm)T..ten dollars."

I guess I should be glad that my body wasn't worth $10 to them,
then again I always knew nothing was my price tag.
The Reaper came with an offer "death no strings attached"
I think I should take him up......
