The "new" pledge of allegiance
By heart broken suicide
our hair can be purple orange or green
thats no offense its a freedom scene
the law is specific the law is precise
prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice
were allowed to cuss and dress like freaks
and pierce our noses tounges and cheeks
theyve outlawed guns but FIRST the Bible
to quote the Good Book makes me liable
we can elect a pregenant senior queen
and the unwed daddy our senior king
its inappropriate to teach right from wrong
were taught that such judgements dont belong
we can get our condoms and birth controls
study witch craft vampires and totem poles
but the ten commandments are not allowed
no word of god must reach this crowd

well, if you are allowed to have witch craft, shouldn't christians be allowed their bible? ;) Perhaps it would be best if no one was allowed to shove their religion down other's throats. Oh, now wouldn't THAT be a dream? *sigh* Nice write.

...Believe it or not this country was built on a foundation with God held high. Damn people need to just leave the pledge alone why change a good thing? If you don't like well hell don't say it.

we are supposed to have freedom of religion, but if our UNITED COUNTRY'S pledge has a reference to GOD in it, how is that freedom of religion for the atheists and agnostics?

Amen to that. Well said. America was formed by people who wanted freedom of religion, whatever happened to that? We're free to do everything else. -Cinn

well done. decadence is defined as: a process, condition, or period of deterioration or decline, as in morals or art; decay. divide us with our differences, destroy us with our selves, and bring us all back together under the reign of terror.
