Eight Months [the tragedy continues]

By PaperPromises

Eight months passed and I'm still drowning
Eight months gone since you spread your wings
Since you went up to the mountain of no return
Since your deadly intentions carried a fatal confirm.

Eight months passed and I find I still cry
Cause hard as I try
I still don't know why.

Eight months passed and I'm still a nervous wreck
Eight months gone since you took a gun and left
Since a single bullet tore your very own life apart
Since that same bullet has since been lodged in my heart.

Eight months passed and I find I still cry
Cause hard as I try
I'll never know why,

Why eight months later I still can't say goodnight
Why I cannot make things alright
Why you chose to end your life with suicide..

Poetry is meant to get under your skin, take it as a complement. I know the feeling of losing someone you treasure.

I know the feeling of losing someone close to you to suicide. This is expressed well. I'm sorry you had to lose him.

I dont have the stomach for reading and commenting these things anymore. I am doing it still, but the filters that should be there are long gone. So when that is said I think you may understand what I mean when I say. I hate this.

For me it only spells death, I see everything els. But when all is said, it spells death to me, and I have yet to come to terms with it. Maybe as an "ancient man" but I doubt it.

For not commenting a lot, you just left 3 in a row.. rather rude and disrespectful I might add, since sure the poem spells death.. my friend shot himself in the head.. so yeah, that WOULD be death.

I can take criticism and we worked it out so you can shut up, he needs to learn how to say what hes saying in a better way cause it sounded like he was putting Scott down and it pissed me off.

Shit sorry. What I meant to say but said in a moranic way was that it got under my skin.
