Thoughts on a cloudless night

By wandering druid

Looking around to find a savior
Someone to take away our pain
To mend the scars on our hearts
But we're all stars in the void
Looking so close together
When we're lightyears apart

Separated from any friend or love
By walls of pain and pride
Is too much for a mortal to feel
So behind closed and locked doors
We're sent to cosmic edges
By a piece of glass or steel

In bliss and severed skin
My loneliness shall end
When i liberate my soul
The Milky Way is stained
Crimson where dead stars lay
When the length of life
Is all that I control
