A Cold Morning for the Blind

By WinterGrave

Beneath the cold embrace of fiction
staggering beauty captive in darkness
peel from thee all emotion
darkened eyes see blindly

but in the dust of the morning
shadows come in full wake
a droplet of sun light
scatter demons in flight
like withered leaves on an autumn day

so hero of decay
come forth on tangled tear drops
drink in the blood-kiss of a rose
pull away the awful thorns in your eyes
breath in the cold morning sights

o.O ...this settled upon me rather nicely...excellent usage of words, strong and sutble at the same time...leaves me with a few different interpretations. Well done! "hero of decay" Loved that! ~b
