Red

By NeverMore

Clouds of crimson crash to Earth,
Staining my colors,
Shattering my hopes.
The sky cries as it falls, dropping
Its red tears on my face.
Red-
The color of love,
The shade of passion,
Rolling down my cheek,
Choking my entire world.
Time ceases itself for me
In the most sweet and
Sadistically cruel way.
The feeling burns in my chest,
The new pain for the ages.
Love was found in the last place
I looked-
She was hiding behind the clouds,
Fluttering amongst the gorgeous
Blue sky.
I asked her for my first kiss
Of real desire.
She responded by obliterating
My once beautiful world, my
Fragile existance.
