The Third Eye
By Trail of Fiends
The harmonious dawn of hidden secrets and gently whispers
Was being abused
Ignored
The clock didn't stop spinning
So the Throne came and broke it
Threw seeds of lies and ignorance
And everything was denied
One by one
By camouflaged force
Urban portrayer tool made us a new eye
And all that we knew gone
And all the skins were left behind
What's left of the Man is ceasing
Dissipating so easily
Tamed by money pacts
Sleeping in the rewards
Like the dead bodies balancing
That greed ties
Bridges collapsed for steel skies
Every look invaded
Lights of power applauded
Dead generations fielded
History sleeps
As the butcher ejaculates comfortably
We feed the monsters
So the deadly dawn of hidden triggers and gently cuts
Can now approach

wow, the imagery is unreal.... the meaning behind this almost makes me salivate.... nicely portrayed without irrationality entering the foray. Awesome write. Thank you.

brilliant metaphor, masked but clear, and incredibly perceptive, too...I'm taking this more on a grand societal scale than a personal one, and I hope that works for you as well as it did for me...
