Truth

By HeLlSeND

daily i try to continue the lie
to straighten my face and tighten my tie
to face all the fiction
to forget all the fact
to compromise wisdom
to display my tact
alas tact is but grace
and grace is a dance
& such a tiny few
are given the chance
with minds still awake
but bodies that slumber
It's truly a shame
that we're left to wander
If anythings true
or is it all fake
I've nothing to give
you've nothing to take
so sure we may make
mistakes here and there
but nothing is right
and nothing is fair
but a noone from nowhere
is what they await
proving that truth
is weaker than faith
but faith is a bucket
with wood that's decayed
and riddled with holes
yet you let truth fade

I could see this sung in the style of Bright Eyes... it's very Conor-Oberst-y. Nicely done... and I like how you break the scheme at the ending; it gives it some additional emphasis.
