IV. Suffering Damnation

By Alacer_Cogitatus

Cries of a forloarn child
prohibit me slumber
delirious from lack thereof.
what has he to cry for?
no lost loves, or broken hearts
insastiable hunger, perhaps,
mother's teat unable to provide
soiled linens, even i think not.
a child's cry reminds me that
I have lived although not long
and yet he still suffers.
universal is suffereing no matter
who what where and how
discourses on thoughts pertaining
only to those who have suffered
have lived
without suffering no good can
result.
we are lucky to suffer

without it, we are not human

((([[ Human weakness is our strongest trait ]])))
