Disenchanted
By Syn
A tear upon a whisper
a dream upon a touch
A movement with a glimpse
of what we love too much
Flightless among
the dampened ground
devoid of intention
muffled with sound
And life is made
of careless thoughts
And persecutes those
that have been brought
For treasures are found
within the soul
but buried within
the lies we mold
Stains seep through
and tarnish our mind
And no one can cherish
the meek and the kind
And when souls disenchant
and strain far apart
I'm reminded of how
I'm absent of heart

I think I cried. Very touching, my heart truly broke and I mourn it's passing. Thank you

I love this poem--the beginning completely entangled me and the flow and structure carry along your expression--very nicely done

I love this...I got completely lost in it, with it's upfront truths told so eloquently. However, I know you must have a heart to write this beautifully and deeply. Wonderful work.
