Am I obsessed with ego?
Yes.
For it is my downfall.
It is like a plague unto my soul.
But, in trying to defeat it -
Do I not give it strength,
Merely by acknowledging it's presence,
And it's power?
Better that I should ignore it completely.
Cast if off as an afterthought.
So that lacking attention,
It fades away -
Into nothingness
