Where does my soul thus wonder

While my head lay rested on your shoulder?


Does it gain a sense of freedom

From the wholeness of my heart?


Or does it flee with the sigh of my comfort

And abandon me to the security of my blss?


Or perhaps, it is in my peace that it revels

And, in the longing once lost, now stirred?
