We said "good-bye" and
went our separate ways
so long ago
Afterwards, I swore I hated
you....
I tried to make peace with you,
you refused
So I made myself forget
everything about you....
But now, for some reason...
I always see your face,
The way you used to smile and say everything will
get better
The way you held me when no one
was there
How you always made me laugh
after every hit we took
The way the moon shined on your face
that night
Your gentle touch
as you layed me down
I crave the sweet taste
of your lips..
But we both have serious relationships now..and i know
what we had is dead is nothing more....
than a haunting memory.
