Longing

By Syn

The longing never ends with me
I challenge every dream I see
And with each, I want more...need more...need you

I can feel my hand on your skin, smell your scent
Breathing in...breathing in...
Oh, what a terrible fate...and I am alone without you

I cannot yearn anymore
Like a distant sea on that distant shore
The sun never meets the sand...and I am crying without you

Wanting our gaze to meet
Like the ghostly desire feat
Of never having and begging...And I am dying without you

I'd bare my soul for you, something sane, something true
And I'm lost in a world of miles
An eternity of footsteps...and I am breaking without you
