Tick-Tock

By TornPaperDoll

Tick-Tock
I hear the clock
Slowly killing me..
Slowly stealing you away..
Slowly tempting you
To go another way
And time is all that
Keeps us here right now
And love is only as long
As time will tell
But time stole many
A good thing from me
And this time there's no way
I'll let time's fate be
Help me hold the hand still
Fighting time with all our might
And in this moment with no minute
Let me touch and hold you tight
And whether time continues on
Or ceases to exist
In my dreams or reality
It is only you that i will kiss
No...I won't let the tick of time
Steal another one of mine.

Interesting thought. Like the thought of times as the enemy instead of the healer... great work.
