Shield the rain..

By Exodus

The black pearl
::Seaside::
By the ocean
A drop of your silver
Innocence
Dripping like the blood
From your pierced fingertips
Once tasted away from a hard on
Euphoria/::Indulge::
I taste the search for gold
Dancing like fire upon your lips
Stinging back at me
Like the bitterness of the sun
Once a star I held in my hands
Burning out, bursting into the explosion
of words, meaning. drowning deeply
in your deepest blue and green.
Never looking back.
Never hurting again

    Very interesting and more abstract than your usual work - I like it. I can imagine it recited at a poetry slam - it seems to have the rhythm for it.

    Reminds me of Pirates Of The Carribean. A lovely, rich, delicious piece, as purr said, lovely vivid imagery. I love it, awesome work. ~L

    lovely vivid imagery, and the smallmoments of punctuation you've used here are very effective...like a whisper, but with emphasis... Very nice indeed. :) purr
