dragonfly

By Exodus

The streams of black
That pour out my soul
Cascading down my face
::I’ve been crying::

The blood that leaks onto my shoulders
Running down the side
Painting the sounds of crickets
And joyrides
::I’ve been dying::

My arms out the window
I feel the wind slip through my fingertips
Saving the world from
Staying still

She dropped the key down her pocket
Made paper planes from your letters
They flew so high above
The red sea

And freedom she screamed
As she jumped through the field

Her eyes they reached for the golden
Rays of the sun
Pouring evanescence down
As weakness danced on her knees

She hung her head back
And looked to the sky
With her arms wide open
She hungers for the feeling.

That mingles around this place

The sound of one knock
At the concrete door

Taking her back home.

    Ok... I started this comment by complimenting one of your images, and then I read the rest... and if I did it with them all, I'd have to leave like 6 comments. This one is awesome... as soon as I finished, I went back and read it again.
