Illusion.

By Exodus

A bleeding beauty
No one understands

The thoughts that wade
Through our mind floods

Entangled in the truth

And become what our hearts desire
All but one,

You walk alone
Shuffling through the snow

Only I am there to take your hand

No one knows why we smile
Or what the secret to happiness is

We share it with no one
Only to see you die

In all your imperfection
Showing the world

The insides, how ugly

And I had a hope
That you might understand

Why we walk alone
In the envious the snow

Two hands clasped.
Two hearts bleed

We bleed onto the snow.

Everyone just stares
And comments.

We are not crazy
Just bitterly informed

Spring shall never come

This place

Does not deserve life, or warmth.

Just the cold, sad winter.

Until you can find the beauty buried inside.

"We are not crazy/Just bitterly informed" - love that. Extra word in the 21st line, too. You're right... the world is a sad, cold place undeserving of life... until you look a little deeper ;)
