Looking for something in your eyes
thatI can recognize
I realize all I can see is apathy
your voice drips with indifference
breaking down my self confidence
I would have to be naive to believe
insincerity does not reside inside you
This animosity that creeps between us
one day will defeat us
and
its tearing me apart
us...our friendship...intimate from the start
has become one more casualty
of deciet
Its really a shame
that were so caught up in this game
What is it that you hopped to achieve
with your conspiracy to decieve me
Then to have the audacity to treat me likeIm obsolete
with your indiscreet depravity
declaring genocide on my shattered heart
It fills me with contempt
the damage you inflict
All the times you lied
only to confide at your conveinence
I tried tohide inside my head
thinking my hurt feelings
would eventually be shed
I would attempt to reinvent
all the good times we shared
but the sad reality is
you never really cared
With one small moment of lucidity
this atrocsity has become a prophecy
it will transcend all that we intend
to find inside a real
true friend
