A loss of blood.

By Exodus

I risk everything
Just one second away
From being completely
Destroyed
Or not

I’m on edge
Trying as hard
As I can
To steady myself
For whatever is about to come

I have given you the power
To burn and break me
To bleed me
And you have the heart to
But you haven’t

Not so fast

And it’s the tears
That I’ve cried
That define you
When I tell others
I cant stay away

Playing with fire
Fast to fall in the flame
Wall to wall
My back against the door
Only you
Are let through so
Willingly

Charmed your way
Inside my walls
Inside my heart

My life, so fragile
Dangling from a string
So high above me

Its only a matter of seconds
Before I break
And give you all
That is left of me

Destruction, beauty, creation, ugliness... they're often the same thing.
