How many scars cover
The tattooed bicep
To drown out the everlasting pain?
How many restless nights have
Been had due to stressing
About every little thing?
How many mornings did
You wish to never wake up
So you wouldn't have to live?
How many pills have you taken
Because life without them is
More of a Hell than with them?
How many people have you killed
With that same scalpel and covered
Yourself in their blood?
How many intestines have you
Spilled and eaten as the hunger
Inside continues to grow?
How many more people will
Suffer from your shaking hands
Until you finally have your fill?
How many more of these things will
Consume your life until you
Are nothing but a distant memory?
