Quarentine haikus

By Queazenart

Leaf litter drum roll
Anolls hidden in the bark
Spider in the bush

Quarentine coffee
taken on the patio
for my sanity

Consume it slowly
Find the silt at the bottom
Seek comfort in it

Watching the squirrels search
for the treasures they buried
Starving for breakfast

Brown bird pecks the ground
a comrade in the struggle
The search continues

Stray cat grooms itself
content with its surroundings
(or oblivious)

Trying to relax
Derive solace in small things
Wanting normalcy.

An interesting, if somewhat depressing flow of seasonal thoughts my friend. Your kus work well together here. Almost a scene from both sides of a window to the world. Cheers Queaz! - Dan
