Pages

By RoseTheBrokenHearted

You are but, a page;
In a chapter of my book.
The story of my heart inside a cage,
Trapped without the key.
The season changed,
From summer to fall.
And with that, you were gone,
Left my mind to be rearranged.
A cycle that doesn't go away,
But maybe every now and then.
I'll always wonder why you didn't stay,
Because it's all I can do.
