Translucid
By Asura
Seconds and minutes and hours and days
Counting and chasing amnesiac rays
Soulless, forgotten, mislead from my fire
I drown in the dream of a towering pyre.
Dreamers, insomniacs and haters and lovers
Burn in the flames of emotional clovers
My wayward is narrow, my home is behind
Their screams going silent, my reasoning blind
I stray from my path to the Phlegethon river
Where God is absurd and the Devil believer
I jump in the waters and tremble in kind
My life fading silent, my dreams are behind
The river is cold and the river is wise
The river engulfs me, this dream I despise.
Dramatis persona of crumbling spires
I drown in the dreams of my towering pyres.
