I'd Give You All My Teeth

By Tagen

Wolf howling
Rents the night in two,
With the bloody, twisting maw
Of the freezing moon.

She sits alone tonight,
Twisting Native tongue
Into smoke-curled prayers,
For the damned, for the doomed.

What mental death; what savage ruin.

"I pulled my teeth out for you,"

The moon smiles, and the sun swoons.
