sterile I try

By Jessica Orr

I died.
they said it was true;
paddles
and a pile of sorta white towels
and slight echos
were left.

I wanted to go
but i was scared
right before,
and they said so.

So much to know,
so little understanding;
one gets stuck in,
and can’t control it.

orphans arrange,
all is done at on the run,
for it deems no better-

I am alive
a glorious feast, i know;
at risk of saying I do my best,
your going to have take
my word for it.

    I really like this one, the closing stanza is especially well worded, "I am alive a glorious feast, i know; at risk of saying I do my best..." Really great job! Ciao, T/S Scholar
