Propheceit
By Ortolan
Don't need to proud nor shamed
With alien executions on the interplanetary station again..
The problem is:
America needs to respect the cats.
America will suffer Michigan for this
And America shall even suffer itself a swaethe of Ohio...
America on broken knees
my bold spit seems irrelevant
like cobra meeting unblinking eye
don't need shame
plenty of the television but not a telescope in the world
religion-relativity or political-privacy
it's pravity
society or so what, right now
let me show you how
let me break your taken hand
cannibal fetish?
secret spoken sorcery?
anti-sex, and pro-militia?
YOU CERTAINLY CAN NOT COUNT ON ME
society so what, in my arms constricting
the firey fangs of an animal born in new spirit
hateful reptillian skin replacing all the scars of maiming
your bred and tortured beast has raised ressurected in me
America will gnaw on the dogbone it has bred
America in the toilet, foaming with lye
America in the cauldron, boiling with fat
The Destroyer has a name no one can speak
Murder or Mercinary
Angel of the Arc, or Covenant of Mercy...
There is nothing merciful here except this
a hundred gigawatt lightening bolt by chance
Tesla, Einstein, Aerhart, Curie
maybe God speaks through thee
when It said "do your Jobs and leave"
and It did so without speaking
got tired of the human being
so nothing I say is sinking in
and there goes the body once again
into the ground and I dance on it
done in
rusted bin
drugging it's own self to life
God on high infuses It's alien blood with chems
so now you've done it for good
you outright told a curse of a truth
self dismembering man will dance on it
say the world is ruined and it's going to hell
It even will let you do it yourself
Guilty of telling the truth, it's in every single move
---
America no longer exists
Galactic time in tectonic drift
God wakes up again and kills
Sparking new war into good and evil
Universe breaks off into bits
Psychic corruption of megabits
singularity, sentient mechanics
don't worry now about a thousand years

All eyes gaze upon her beauty, alas, drunken by her indivisible nature, insecure by bold hands that reach within the unlimited bounds of their mind's poverty. Tugging still at her skirt of trodden grace with hands grimed in self engrossed thirst. Defacing her with a parched heart borne by lands once fashioned by such Godly eyes . And so she weeps. America forbearer of comfort to all who seek shelter from tyrant oppressors, travail on. - Thought provoker, - blue angel

That sounds the grisly reminder of a Statue of Liberty buried in apocalyptic sands. In the event of evolutionary retrogression, guess we should hope they will melt down their pennies before rending her skirt. - Å’

We'll continue to toss our pennies into the wishing well, by fate Nature consumes all things back into her bosom along with Man's symbolic heart.

Maybe intelligence is wasted on the intelligent...but your manner of describing such conceptualizations are poetic enough to deserve an open measure of consideration I'd say. Thanks for the look. Å’

It's just that I have stepped above seedy organized corruption to gaze upon Earth; our planetary Mother, as a divine gift. Being careful not to be hindered in spirit, and thought by Man's agenda. Your clairvoyant ambiguity comes forth heated in tone, because I believe you're close to the fire (metaphorically speaking). A thought provoker, but I would like a clearer, perhaps less poetic, understanding of your message's meaning. I enjoy cryptic poetry, however, repetitive devices can have a sharp edge. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Respectively, blue angel

I meant to say America is a drop in the bucket, like life is for a mortal being, and a nation is also a mortal entity as is a planet.I am aware of the truths, it is the repetition on purpose that brings about the eventual and inevitable destruction and renewal of all things. Å’

What I'm getting at: Is there more to your poem, than 'Death/punishment to America'? If not then I'm puzzled by that conception. Also, I just want to say that 'politics and religion' do NOT represent 'America' (her symbolism). Freedom and Peace to ALL, is what she represents, and highly respecting the Sacred Holy Lands. Power-tripped corruption is a byproduct of greed, on all accounts. If no one else is brave enough to ponder this, surely I am. Fear does not flow through my veins, in the flesh or cyber-waved. Open minded communication is key to understanding, especially through the mind of a poet. - blue angel

If any death/destruction goes with a nation it is the people who go before and after it.I don't know if anyone has ever said that before but I'm saying it now. Respect for the founders or the future isn't negated here, nature is here too in myself and doesn't alter course when judged by human.Man and woman are equally feeble as they are powerful which is not much in the greater scheme of the universe, though by attribute of self we may believe to behold our perceptions. I may have mentioned that some either lacked the insight or the care to survey the land properly, or simply said it was good to build on places known as bad ground, such as Liberia ,freed slaves colony was built on a huge metal mine and there are vampire legends that go back to before the cannibal wars there for instance, back to Bathory who sent first miners there, mythical it seems. The world is huge, and spans a time further than any of anyone can live.None of us will even see 1% of the surface on foot in a life we won't remember if we love it enough to return. The world will remove me from it when it is done with me also.Quick is my hope but however it sees fit to hasten doom.I feel and believe strongly, and also know that doomsday is a highly personal thing, mythologized even for people who don't write their own myth. The darker truths once shell is cracked need be made to a mosaic of sorts, or whatever will pacify the sharp edges from being seen for what they are, and they are necessary. Thank you for the response. Very interesting. There is a lot to absorb, naturally, bearing the subject. There are those who walk above the surface and those who tread upon it. Touching the surface means feeling it. Once the textured weight of that versatility is felt, - memory's sensation is set in motion. We'll never forget. As for building on unstable, tainted or sacred land, it is never wise, as we've learned. It disrupts the sanctity of nature. Thusly, writing their own demise, perhaps a slow destruction of misfortune. Mythically speaking it makes for fantastical fiction. However, there is truth hidden behind all fiction, and it feeds upon the flesh. Beyond a mere survey, the reveal comes from seasons spent. Only then can respect be obtained. - Pondering still, blue angel

I thought as well and realize that I mention area by state specifically out of morbid humor, my brand of satire, that is really what is going on.I mean in the poem that America suffers itself for Ohio to 'not exist', (for people who don't want to exist?).Then there are Detroit-like places, where people actually Do Not (seem to) exist. Some places are shrouded in darkness so thick it is as though they were abandoned by life itself, are not funded or watched, and become something sick and half-living which refuses to turn into a real ghost town. The Great Lakes left me feeling it was not a a place people should be.It was also a place with a whole lot of copper and steel, (like Liberia), now Detroit's self-crippling car industry makes sense.Native American (Mississippian) folklore had many of it's places marked as inhabited by a mythical dragon of hostile temperament which hoards copper and said to live in the water-table itself - Å’
