The Siren On the Rocks
By ToxicRedhead
There she sits, preening herself upon the rocks
Waiting, patiently waiting for her next sacrifice
Singing her sweet but deadly song
Designed to woo and then destroy
Her needs are desperate, wanton, villainous
She does not care about the misery
Of a poor hapless soul drawn in by the temptation
Of a sweet, sweet kiss - a kiss of death
He's oblivious to the dangers, blinded by his lust
For she sinks in her fangs and drinks the libation
Drinks until she is fully satisfied
The lifeblood dribbling down her gluttanous chin
And the lifeless corpse discarded as waste
Tumbling down the rocks into the roiling brine
A devastated life that could have been glorious
If only he'd worshipped what was right in front of him
Instead of that damn siren on the rocks
