Cursed Immortal

By Ortolan

I believe anything in my own rite
listen to my megalomania
moonwalk over a landmine tonight
backwards in time to Transylvania

I want to carry you into my life
protesting won't get you anywhere
I stride on water to get what is mine
sideways to Jupiter, future Utopia

Told you the hatred was needless
Now you might know I never was bad
Chances are, Eve might not care
she rather might leave him for dead

and in old age Adam wanted to know
why the best part of his own life left
he'd just as soon die as find out now
his luck has gone sour and his soul is bereft
