The reasons of my smile- PART II

By Jessica Orr

There is a queen,
and she rules an empire
called Kino.

A long time ago,
before Kings were born
a pass on land
a shade did roam;
nebkezzar
(not it's real name as if
you said it- forget your
pathetic life as you are
just fucking dead)

Known in pass,
gallant knights did beg
to pass away;
in years blood became
a myth of a dark storm;
banded in candles
and crucifixes.

A birth notwithstanding,
the young age
and the usual jolt-
she woke up from that
tower fall
and a witch she was called.

The terrible tremors
and nights on sweat;
it was with her again
as she was the first;
1000 years ago she
was known as
Eve.

An escape from peasants
to a harem of gypsies;
prosperity and repentance
don't mean a thing-
in this world she knew
blood seeks a trophy watch
and walls around them
and abound their hearts.

A campfire smolders
and she half asleep;
voices and steel on steel
brought her to aid;
many had fallen
but into the fray
a wound fatal to mortals
as she was impaled
by the demon's wicked claw,
left to die in the growing
pile of dead warriors.

Suddenly aware as few were
left,
She healed already
as she clutched a spear;
She came to the aid of
the last knight-paladin;
round-about a team
they became,
the ground steaming
from the creatures blood.

It fell to its knees
and screeched to its lord,
the Paladin took its head off
and I nursed my wounds...

He asked me what it meant,
"...that I, Gilgamesh
was already doomed,
not once but twice
by silver and Ever Bel"

A kingly-line it ends,
Kino, also known as
Mesopotamia will decline,
silver dagger gleams
from his chest;
the scroll to Abraham
at ready;
her cloak pulled tight,
she kissed his lips
tenderly and said
"I love thou eagerly
and spiritually for
2 cycles of crops;
know that atonement
and forgiveness are
prayed for but
rarely bestowed,
love,
I ache as I can't help it,
it's courses my soul,
I am an ugly thing,
I am his justice.
I will love again,
and I will find
the next link in his plan,
blood and death his pleasure,
And I
his weapon"

I see the sea,
hillocks of yellow grasses
call me;
Abraham's royal guard at my side,
Sodom smolders in the winds
and I smile.
