The reasons of my smile- PART I
By Jessica Orr
Don't leave.
Sometimes lakes
contain as existed;
many eons I have
been a tester:
My first name is Eve.
I was perfect in all eyes
except my own;
he pulled and pulled,
meat torn away;
hot and formed
I opened my eyes
and he didn't see
with back turned
I was possessed
by the other,
forever to be.
My first name is Eva.
I love a madman
in resurrection
of horrors
he is about to commit,
I slit and slit but
I can't leave as
it is apart of me;
5000 years
and I know secrets
I know the plots;
I've seen great men fall,
for I am why.
My first name Ever Bel.
I am the destroyer
of worlds;
The last earth colony
Is gone now in
view of screen
covered in splatter
of the last man's blood;
the ship is vacant,
now,
10,000 years since
I first saw;
It's gone
and I am so warm...
I closed my eyes
just to rest,
and open them,
his back to me...
My name is Eve.
I wrote this in 2015
on Facebook;
If you read this
history didn't change-
Please pray for my release,
someday
as I just want to be loved,
and I swear I'm not bad.

Incredible piece of work Jessica, this is the first work I read of yours but I am already impressed.

@Ortolan...I have a weird search for why sin exists and I think beautiful and cursed Eve is just a front for that propinquity of error and the horror of fucking things up- and thank you as you are very kind with your analysis.

What a great read! It sneakily dragged me away- to another world- that of eve's.. I wanted more!

@Genelebo...Thanks as it did just build upon itself from the first stanza. I have a weird pseudo-religious poetry streak; this shows it for sure. Again thanks for reading it.

This was a pretty wild ride with a cool structure. I think you'll like it here. Til next time -

@Sean...Thanks for reading it. I've been writing poem-stories lately for some reason. Just seems Eve needed a story. Merci
