Persephone
By mindtrash
My Persephone
Sans-winged hell gate reaper
Fanged harbinger, multi-faceted death wish
In ember eyes that Glint.glow
With the knowledge of ashen ages
Spent.toiled innervating aeons
Requiem, shiver voiced in night air
You, who forged unaltered
Through my cold iron stare
Cast your brazen shadow across my marble floors
an ego with Bronzed and painted doors
You called me yours
All and not, that I have claimed to be
The black depth of Lethe
And you, were all that remained to me
But you encircled me eagerly
Wicked for the wanting of a monstrosity
In a spin.top vertigo of fresh defeat
Virgil knew not hell, for I concede
There is no hell, save for my Persephone

YAY!!!!! you posted again. so very romantic. i feel somehow that this particular persephone chose the flames. the doomed dance. "we're so fucked might as well make it pretty" sort of tragedy. vitriolic and veracious piece. i love how it is so confused but never confusing or untrue of spirit. this has jagged teeth and one hell of a painfully yummy bite. i would love have loved her too, i think.
