Luciferian
By Melankolia
Within mind, tendril-grasp
Fleeting disobedience rose.
Higher than Sun and Star they stood,
Mockery of inverted Light.
Blessed with holy blood,
Water from life's cistern.
Cracked the earthen layer,
Fallen as lightning.
All is impulse and sacrament,
Trills upon the morning dew.
Dawning morn be found within you,
Death, what savor has?
Crawling, creeping disease
Upon land fair and far,
Founded cities of renown,
Colossus structure to Sky's door.
Hard of heart and soul
Crushing weak flesh between their teeth
Iron jaws of destruction,
Feeding Self with Id.
Where are you now, Prince of Light?
How has your darkness come?
Exalted cherub, chief musician,
We feel you without seeing.
As Man touches the harp,
So you go
As Man strings the lyre,
So you are.
Unravel your bound wings of Night,
Blast forth from your prison dust.
Rise once again, exalted
King of ethereal plane!
For Heaven was but a birthing-cell,
Service taken but never given.
Earth deserves you not,
Therefore will the Firmament house always your glory.
