A sweet Valentine

By Peyton1

Sweets for my sweet
Are you a trick or a treat?
Every time that we meet
It's your smile that I seek

And then my knees become weak.

You say that you care
I see you everywhere
Your appearance so fair
I try hard not to stare

And then my heart doth dare.

Happy Valentine’s Day
Isn’t that what we say?
With you I wish to play
But can’t get you to stay

And then my smile fades away.

A sweet valentine, to me yet unknown
Candy and card, away I have thrown
So forever I spend this day all alone
My solitude to be my cursed throne

And then my heart turns to stone…..

Thanks bunches for commenting miss Kendra! You are right, the L wound is the worst one. And it's so hard to stitch the L closed.... it must be because of the 90 degree turn at the bottom, haha! Thanks again, later girl........... ~ACE~

Well, thank you for such a nice comment, miss.... I still don't know your name. Yeah, it does suck being alone on heart-day. I think I may just consider despising all holidays equally and be done with it! LOL Thanks for reading me, see ya......... *~ACE~*

Hey, thanks for reading and welcome to DP as well. I like to lead the reader down a set path sometimes....... and then go off-roading a bit at the end. It keeps things interesting. It would be better if it was ALL just a dream sometimes, I think. lol I will have to make it to your page soon as well, thanks for commenting, Later.............. *~ACE~*
