You Never Knew

By Morgoth

All the time we spent together was magical, the few times I saw you it was surreal.
I loved you... You loved me.
Plans for the future, hopes in the making, but you never knew.
Knew that every time you unwittingly said no, you stabbed me in the heart...
Every time you said don't stay too long, it was followed by cries of sorrow.
When you slept with another, it broke me... broke the mirror of us.
The pieces of my broken heart and our broken relationship
scattered on the floor like they are forgotten, forgotton like me.
You still say you love me, still lead me on.
Tantilizing, intoxicating... you are the most addicting drug on earth.
Leading me on, then stabbing me in the back.
I can't help myself, its killing me and you never knew.
Saying you depend on me, that I'm the best...
Actions speak louder than words bitch.
Your actions are a hypocrite of you and what you say.
Temptress, my mistress... I miss you, I love you, I hate you.
Sometimes It seems like I can have no other,
othertimes like I'll die before I choose you.
You already chose another and I cry for sorrow and joy at the same time.
Inside I act like I do not care but I do and
You never knew.
