Syndalee

By FadedBlues

Syndalee

sing, Syndalee, tenderly
songs of the meadow
wandering weepily
toward fallow tomorrow

sadly sings Syndalee
of reason and rhyme
singular, melancholy
thru the seasons of time

Syndalee’s passion
no storm could defer
if pain were to happen
it would happen to her

Syndalee, thundering
soft in the making
elixir of poison
and pills for the taking

girl-poem, Syndalee
unseen in the corner
sleepy, eternally
and no one to mourn her

The name sounds familiar but phonetically "sin daily" is a close approximation. And I'm sure we all do too, cheers FB! Most Excellent.

Her songs are chilled for the lost lovers of the night. Tearing their souls to shreds.... This is a dark treasure to bestow... I place it in my keeping at midnight upon the hill of lost reasoning. Blues, I do bow at your poetry altar :)~
