Selene/Endymion

By Artanis

Her light shines on the trees
and beneath the mountain
where he lies
asleep to forever dream of her beauty
she weeps for her lover
so far away

She whispers his name to the heavens
Endymion
over and over again
his name floats on the wind
to never meet his ears
Endymion
dreams,
hands clasped into fists
to never catch his lover's tears
