Death’s Invitation

By Death

Come take away the pain and confusion,
Take away my anger and reflection.
Replace all my turmoil inside,
With the hunger I cannot hide.

I long for a release from being so hollow,
This river of blood I cannot swallow.
The blood flows from the wound,
In the night I hear this sweet tune.

Take away this fear in me,
And give me life for eternity.
When Death comes for you, will you stand tall?
Or will you be one who will fall?

This pain I cannot bear,
Through the centuries I will tear.
The beauty of a new age is at hand,
I cannot slip away like sand.

For Death do I yearn,
This life has started to turn.
A new Angel is sought,
To this position I have fought.

Death is who you fear,
And Death is the person I hold dear.

  • A former member wrote: I see you try to build your own style, and that's quite positive. Though this is a common subject, it's always nice to know new opinions... Good job. *Lilith*
