Picture Window
By MikeShank1989
A framed pane stained from strained pain
A child tapping until the
panel rattles your brain
An attic skylight feigning photosynthesis
Dramatic high flight, you fell short though Icarus
Refraction, frantic
fractal attraction
Fragile faces, forced framed fractions
And
though the sun may dust the pages on my writer's desk
The sight through
the window to my mind's eye is hardly picturesque

Thanks a ton Dev. I have a piece called "Small Things Cost the Most." I'd love some feedback on it.
