rubbernecker

By eidos

it's like reading a book
and you're getting to the point that your heart
starts to beat faster. when you want
nothing more than to tap the brakes
so you can tell your friends
how you felt at just that moment
that it all came crashing down.

Your command of the English language is so good and your pieces so clever, that any comment left under the poem pales in comparison.

The message here is pretty clear, but the diction in the second to last line doesn't fit too well, I don't think, the "you" doesn't belong there, I don't think, other than that I like this, clean cut and direct, thanks for sharing :) Scholar
