Sad goodbye
By DePriest
Distant eyes are fixed upon you
they watch your every move
moving slowly across your body
from your toes to head you sooth
The inner termoil thats inside
the lonliness, the fight
If I could only speak to you
I could win you over tonight
A night of absolute pleasure
a chance to forget the pain
your soft flesh against my own
to feel alive again
Your hand is my hand
you read my every thought
You please
my every desire
your sweet lips I have sought
Lost in
my own emotions
the passions so deep inside
Our time together
was precious
in your heart I forever reside.

beautiful and so freakin sad, too. it shows excactly that miserable feeling usually related to last farewells. its a deep poem, very nice. beautiful way of weaving words together.

Thank you Poetess. It means very much to know others can truly identify with the emotions you try to create.
