The Words You Lost

By Shadow_Kissed5180

Here are the words I was never able to speak,
Words that were neglected from coming to it’s peak,
So let me tell you how I feel,
How I thought everything was so very real.

I loved you more than any person could,
I loved you more than you’re own parents should.
I wanted you to know I would have died,
I would have died if that meant you’d never cry.

I wish you needed me as I needed you,
I wish you loved me as I loved you.
You were my muse, my world, my rock,
Without you I’ve found myself lost, stuck in this rut.

I wanted to tell you I’d do anything for you,
If someone was to hurt you, I’d never let them through.
I wanted to tell you that my mind is overflowing with thoughts,
Now all I think about is what I lost.

You may not understand how much I feel,
I loved you with everything, and wished you would steal,
Steal me away like how princes do,
But you left and now I must too.

I loved you more than anyone could,
I needed you more than anyone would,
I wanted you more than anyone should.

You were my everything,
I promise this is not a lie,
And when I say I would have died,
I mean that to this day, with you gone,
If you told me my death,
Would lead to your happiness,
I would kill myself,
And breathe my last breath.

Thinking about you, my love,
And only you.

You are the only one I cannot do without,
Without you I’m trapped,
There’s no way out.

You never heard these words spoken so true,
You never wanted to.

So I never spoke them,
Never aloud.
These words are forever lost,
They will never be found.
