Suicide Soul

By Soulfire

It must have been a place so dark, you couldn't see the light
"Fear not, my child, I was with George that night.
In his darkness, In his despair
Fear not, for I was there."
These words bring comfort, but my heart can't understand.
What could destroy this God-loving man?
"He was broken in heart and mind.
The light was there but he was blind."
What about his faith? His eternal soul?
"I will love him and make him whole.
Forget what you've heard of eternal damnation
His life, not his end, will be his salvation
He led a life of faith: strong and true
He will repent and be born anew"

Rest In Peace dear Uncle
I will never understand what drove you to pull the trigger that night

Miraculous piece that truly inspires in message, yet confounds in the mystery the tortured soul. Thanks for sharing.
