Earth, Our Home
By daiglepoems
I made the Earth and put you on it.
All the fishes in the sea.
Everything that crawls upon it,
Everything was made by me.
I made you from the dirt and grime
and caused your blood to flow.
Now I think has come the time
to tell you what you need to know.
The place where I created you
is on a world far away.
In the black, behind the blue,
beyond the Milky Way.
I'm not some god, as you insist,
who watches from His holy shrine.
I'm just a modern scientist.
You're all experiments of mine.
You weren't made to worship me.
I really don't care wat you think.
You never were a monkey.
There is no missing link.
This planet that you know as "Earth"
was made with just one thing in mind.
That in the future you'll give birth
to us. You see, we're intertwined.
And we will by your masters.
You will be our slave.
Your preachers, priests and pastors
are powerless to save
you from this ordained destiny.
There is no if, just when.
You were made just so that we
could make Earth our home then.

I like the flow and the idea is a fun Sci-fi twist, very cool.

Reminds me of the Twilight Zone (or was it The Outer Limits) episode "How to Serve Man". We thought the aliens were beneficent beings, until it was finally translated as a cookbook! Good write, thanks.
