Ode to Nietzsche
By Poe Etiquette
A spider web, assuredly, is the essence of all thought
A world connected, intricately, and at the heart, for naught
Spun delicate; and tussled, as a sail, by the winds of time
Perceived finite, in the depth of human sentience, by mind

Author's Note:
i wrote this piece in an attempt to sum up the basic proponents of Nihilism, a theory much more complex than can be summed in a simple stanza, though I feel the curtness and concisety of the piece embodies the heart of Nietzshe's anti-theory.Awards

And though Nihilism is not a theory I wholly purport, I will say that the rejection of materialist lust is one of the basic requisites in my own form of existentialism.

This reminds me of Friedrich's last days. I don't know why it was my first thought of this piece. I am currently reading the anti-Christ. A man who lived in the 19th century is still accurate and needed in the 21st century. Remarkable!
