Whole again

By Razor-kissed-wrists

I recently had a counselor who was a lot like me
She had an eating disorder, she didn't cut
But she sat outside in freezing weather to feel something
and whatever was missing in me,
came back when we started talking.

She had to leave, because she was filling in
I thought whatever came back
Whatever made me feel whole again
Would be ripped away
Taken.

I realized that the advice
The talks
Feeling loved, even just for an hour every Tuesday
Was what made me whole
I hope to see you again Vanessa.

When I'm 18 and able to do adult counseling
You'll be the person I go to
I still shed a few tears though, because I miss you
I also shed a few, because of you
I feel whole again
