My life...not yours.

My rights are my own.

It is him i love,
him i long for.
All i have pained,
all the strife and misery that had for so long
been what i considered life.
It has melted.
The flame of acceptance he has held up to it,
has warmed what was once black ice.
He took my trembling hand,
and pulled me through the cave
that i was too blind to see through on my own.
What others saw as impurities,
he interprets as miracles.
The worthless mud covered pebble
that everyone thought belonged on the ground...
He see's a diamond.

Who are you?
To deny me of my fate?
You say we wont make it.
I say you are truly ignorant.
You know nothing of how i feel,
nor how he does.
You know not the story of my life.
Ignorance is bliss i suppose.
The only thing that brings me such bliss,
is watching my rivals burn,
and seeing his face.

Leave my life alone,
I am not yours to control.
You are welcome to your
horrid cruel opinions.
They cannot hurt me,
nor can your words.
I am finally happy.
I am finally confident,
and safe.
If you cant see that the light
has returned to my eyes,
perhaphs i do not need you around.
For he is always there,
to make my days of darkness and despair vanish.
And that,
is all i need.
