The empty seat

By Dragonfly

The empty seat beside me
like the hollow in my heart
Many hopeful memories
quickly ripped apart
Many knew you were here
few knew how you came
Many Knew you came near
few knew of your name
Sullen timid whispers
gently take my breath
He still feels when he kissed her lips
imprinted in his memory even after death
Memories forgotten confessions never said
now regret is futile cause now her heart is dead
