Thaw out my heart.

A pile of memories,
high as the eye can see.
Some long forgotten
waiting for me.

I trudge to your fortress
stingily lit,
looking for heaven
a place for me to fit.

an angel in this decay
and there like a seraphim you fly

Stuck in this battlefield
